Wearable Statements

We do not just wear these clothes; we inhabit the space they create. This project is about the 'latency' between who we are told to be and who we actually are. Autonomy doesn't stop at the skin—it extends to the light we cast, the shadows we occupy, and the words we choose to wear.

Beyond the Norm. Intense by Principle

• It is for the BIPOC community, defending their voices and their rage against colonial structures.
• It is for the Queer and Trans community, who perceive their bodies as both a political battlefield and a site of limitless freedom.
• It is for mothers and single parents, who achieve the impossible within a system of invisibility and prove their intensity every single day.
• It is for every body, regardless of shape, size, or ability.

POWER TO THE BITCHES WITH ALL THEIR MIGHTY INTENSITY

"Bitch" a word often used to devalue people who are loud, who take up space, who make demands, or refuse to conform.
"INTENSE BITCH" is not an insult; it is a title of honor. It stands for radical authenticity, uncompromising self-determination, and the refusal to make oneself small. Intense in feeling, intense in action, intense in existence. We transform an attempted slur into a symbol of strength.

"INTENSE BITCH" is not an exclusive club, it is a promise to ourselves. We speak to everyone who has never felt at home within the narrow cages of normativity and societal expectations.

"A Bitch is a woman who has a freedom and an independence which they envy and challenges them to forsake the security of their chains." (Jo Freeman)

Böse Möse (The Fierce Vulva)

Vagina Dentata is a symbol of universal defiance against the judging gaze of the outside world.
Breaking the silence of shame, reclaiming sexual autonomy, mythology, and defiance.

The "Vagina Dentata" (Latin for toothed vagina) is an ancient, global mythological motif. Historically, it was often used to stoke male castration anxiety and to portray female sexuality as something threatening. We are flipping this narrative.

The "Winged Vagina Dentata" on our "BÖSE MÖSE" panties is a symbol of defensiveness and autonomous pleasure.
It is not a passive invitation, but an active, powerful organ. It stands for the destruction of the "Male Gaze," which views the female body merely as an object. The "BÖSE MÖSE" is not well-behaved, not silent, and not available. It is wild, autonomous, and shatters the taboo of shame. We celebrate the vulva in all its untamed power.

The Three Pillars of the Project

1. Linguistic Reappropriation (Reclaiming the Slur)

The use of the term "INTENSE BITCH" serves as a linguistic intervention. Historically used to police the behavior of women and marginalized genders who were "too much" (too loud, too angry, too ambitious), the term is stripped of its power to wound.
In this project, it is repurposed as a mark of excellence and radical presence.

2. Visual Subversion (The Vagina Dentata)

The "Böse Möse" (Vicious Vulva) motif utilizes the ancient archetype of the Vagina Dentata. By placing this "toothed" imagery on intimate apparel, the project confronts the Male Gaze and the history of sexual objectification. It reimagines the vulva not as a passive object of desire, but as an autonomous, winged, and defensive force.

3. Intersectional Solidarity: The Intense BIPOC Bitch

The project explicitly acknowledges that "intensity" is racialized and weaponized. For BIPOC individuals, being labeled "too intense," "too aggressive," or a "bitch" is a systematic tactic to silence their critiques of inequality and dismiss their resistance as "victimhood." This branch of the project reclaims that intensity. It centers the strength of those who refuse to be silent about systemic discrimination, ensuring that the feminist statement is radical, anti-colonial, and grounded in the collective liberation of all who are marginalized by patriarchal and white supremacist structures.
